Something I've only really started to realise - probably everyone already knows this but:
using the healing brush/ cloning brush to tidy up an image, if you instead of using the 'Normal' blending mode, use the lighten or darken blending mode, depending on what sort of area you are cloning out, then you get much much more effective and cleaner edits.
So if you had a white spot you wanted to remove in a black area, switching to 'darken' mode would let you clone out the spot or use the healing brush without the common edge of the brush issues. Makes things _much_ easier. Just thought I'd share. (obviously not dpc-legal though) |
