A friend of mine has fallen off his bicycle and cracked his pelvis in a couple of places. For his recovery he has been told to "sit still and take the pain killers" for 6-8 weeks.
I am thinking of getting him a book to read to help him pass the time. He is a keen aficionado of the technicalities of photography. He uses a Olympus 4/3rds camera. The book he is currently reading is The Digital Negative by Jeff Schewe. Can anyone make a suggestion for books of a similar technical depth - not necessarily on that topic - that would help?
PS. I'm UK based, if that makes a difference....
