I'm positive that Alex ambaker would have LOVED to see his wife, Sharon, take up his equipment... after he's spent so much time... teaching her so much about photography... her by his side... for... YEARS of discussion!

I would be great to have another Baker in the bunch. Come join the fun. And don't worry about "competing". Even if you don't want to enter the main challenges, there are ongoing side challenges for every taste. And there's no scoring or judging involved :)

It's a great excuse to get out and look at the world, capturing that little bit that you happen to see, and sharing it with others.
I think it would be marvelous if you came and played with us! It's the typical neighborhood playground. We have a good time, we grouse and complain, you make some fast friends, you meet a couple of bullies, and it's a lot of fun. Jump in, try the swings first, then the merry-go-round (we have the old fashioned kind that they've banned from school playgrounds nowadays. Watch out for the teeter-totter -- those things can send you flying!
Hello Sharon, welcome to our group. I 've not been a member for long and tend to be shy asking for help. Even though this does have challenges everyone on here is willing to share their skills and tips for every type of photo you are drawn to. There are many brilliant photographers on here. I started out by checking out the photos then the (how did they do that) page. There is so much knowledge in this group it's like having a photo class right at your fingertips any time day or night.
