All you need to do is follow the road map spelled out in this handy infographic. It is pretty comprehensive (said the guy that knows nothing about being a pro photographer).

LOL I would put 'Master the basics' waayyyyy up top where they belong! If you don't know the basics, then you can't bend or break em.

They DO show up at the top, or very nearly so, in the first reddish/orange box. They show up again, down in the middle, as a subject of continuing education, but...

You had me with infographic but it's far too complicated. If I'm going to set up a career I don't want to have to scroll to get all the info. And right up top I have to make a decision. Deal-breaker. I'll stick to hand modelling, thank you.

By only following the infographic will not help if you dont have the pastience to learn each and every detail of photography! And finally the more you will take the shots, the more you will be expert on this field.
