It's most likely the something about the way that specific flash mates to that specific camera. Dimensional tolerances can do that to you. In any case, there is something that is not right, and I'd look at the flash as the major contributor before I looked at the body. It is possible that there is a problem with both, though. They both may have sustained a mechanical stress, say a push to the right, when they were mated together, which might explain the behavior. |
