One of the former 5th-place images in the "Dairy III" challenge has been disqualified for over-enthusiastic laying-on of texture. A plain, featureless background has been eliminated and replaced with a prominent, "barn siding" type of texture fill. The substitution is so prominent that what was intended as a texture has instead attained all the earmarks of a composite of two separate images, which is not legal under the Advanced rules.
There's no new honorable mention to congratulate, oddly, since there was a tie for 5th place originally. |
