jonpink: I am actually seeing that one for the first time. I have seen few others including the turning circles ones before. I used to stare into magic eye stuff as well.
Does anyone have any information on how this illusion works?

The medication must be working now, my motor has stalled, but my wheels are still turning. My hands don't shake anymore.
They are still here, watching me...they hide under my bed and in the wardrobe.

There was a big debate about this image about a year ago at another forum I visit. Nobody really believed until they took the image into photoshop and started seeing what the color code for each section was. It really does mess with your eyes but they are the same color!

what you see is what you expect to see, and depends also to a large degree on how the human visual system is wired up.
