Dallas had CO2 laser surgery yesterday. This surgery drills pin holes into the scars to break them up and redistribute the layers. It also causes a new injury to "wake up" the scars that have become dormant and are no longer healing. It helps to promote new collagen growth to soften the scarring.
This is his first round of CO2 lasers and he will need at least 2 more sessions.
The next surgery is scheduled for January.
He's in quite a bit of pain.
