Yes they did, didn't they? The morning was really drab, but the afternoon cooperated beautifully! I even had enough card space to shoot through sunset for a natural fade-out. I was impressed that the 6D shot all day on one battery, and still had plenty of juice at the end.
I have to say that the process for creating the video in Ps is now so easy that I was initially over-thinking it. Basically just File>Open, point at the first file in the series and check the box that tells Ps it is a series of images. Poof, they are on the timeline.
I definitely would not have wanted to do this on my old desktop, LOL!
