I'm back. Again.
I know I disappear for months at a time.
I took a major hiatus (again).
But this time, I'm back for real.
For those who keep up with my dear son, Dallas... Here's the latest: we had his care transferred from North Carolina to Texas (since we've moved). His original surgeon transferred his care to a colleague of his, someone he's worked with for many years, so I trust this new surgeon. Dallas will now be receiving treatment at Shriners of Galveston. It's still a 4 hour drive, but, much closer than a 20hour drive!
His next surgery will be a new one. They are going to be using Co2 lasers (from what I gather, it drills little pin holes in his scars to regenerate new growth of collagen to help soften the scars).
He is scheduled to undergo this new surgery next Thursday.
I have been busy shooting Dallas' football games, 2 Monday's ago, when I was involved in a car accident (not my fault). So I am slowly trying to get back to normal. I've been experiencing severe headaches and lower back pain. I was diagnosed with a concussion and a possible slipped disc (which we won't know until I get the MRI this Monday).
Anyhow, in the meantime, I will be voting and commenting again.
Hopefully I'll be able to pick up my camera again soon!

Welcome back! I think of Dallas often and wonder how he is doing. I'm happy to hear he is recovering as well as he seems to be - that is incredible news!
