For the next twelve months I will donate £10 (English Sterling) to Cancer Research UK every time I receive 100 votes in a challenge.
I won't be able to enter every challenge, but I've entered around 50 in the last year so imagine how much money this could raise.......
I have chosen this particular charity for two reasons. Firstly, I have spent the last few weeks on a roller coaster as my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in September. She had an operation two weeks ago (no mean feat at her age) and today was given the all clear. On Friday she will celebrate her 82nd birthday. This would not have been possible without the work of cancer research organisations. Secondly, although this is a UK based charity the research it undertakes has influence worldwide and I wanted to make sure I covered the international audience we have here.
So - right now I have an entry in Free Study (69 votes so far) and Low Contrast (37 votes)..........
