Metal prints larger than 20x30 do not have a market opportunity for me because of the cost and difficulty in handling. If I wanted really big aluminum prints, I'd choose Bay Photo.

As Richard said, you want to make sure the image will benefit from that treatment -- I'd lean toward sharp, contrasty, saturated images ... the one I'd print that way has lots of metal in it and (metallic paper) makes it look very real ...

I have someone who wants my Human Hand entry printed and framed. I thought it would look best on metal... but I'm REALLY open to other ideas.

You can look at FineArtAmerica. You can become a member for free and then upload up to 25 images for sale. Since you only want this one, that should be adequate. I got a metal print from them and was quite satisfied. But I don't think it was as shiny as what Richard is describing. Thing is, they do any shape or size. You might also look at their acrylics. That would be very slick (literally and figuratively).

Most of the places I've looked at so far have square crops as standard.
I print exclusively on metal or canvas. I've been using Bay Photo and they are REALLY great to work with. You can get a custom size/shape, but that's pricey. But square crop is definitely one of the standard sizes.

I haven't ordered from these folks before but I saw some sample work and it looked really good. They're pretty new to the US scene. https://us.whitewall.com/
For the Zebra print, I think it'd look really good face mounted as well. The print is usually sandwiched between a nice plexi(or lexan maybe) and sintra(or dibond) . Will give a nice clean high art look to it. Worth considering.

I was at Photo Plus in NYC last year. They had a really impressive booth there, especially for first time exhibitors. I'll probably be going again this year, it's in a few weeks. If I get any coupon codes, I'll post some here. I mostly go to see any new printing tech and get some sample and swatch books. This year I hope to see some new display technology. At an Art Expo there was this gentleman who painted the most amazing life like animal portraits with a black background. Looked amazing face mounted.

For the *FREE* pack it's just stock images, you'd have to order the smallest prints if you used your own image. I do hope they use the same image for better comparison - I'll update when they arrive.
All that black on a high-gloss surface would turn into an instant mirror. If I was printing your Human Hand, I'd pick a matte finish on stretched canvas.
