At rollover tonight we'll which teams have won the semifinals and will face off in the Finals of DPL 3.
Everyone involved needs to be aware that RD 2 of the Finals starts at rollover tonight, and will conclude with the Challenge announced at rollover on Sunday. When the results of those two challenges (the Thursday challenge is not part of DPL) are tabulated, we will have a season winner :-)

Given that there is a 48 hour period for validation submissions, and then a period where actual validation occurs, there exists the minor possibility that if Round 1 results are close enough that the results could change with a DQ of any image from Golden Hour or Shopping Carts (not just one submitted by a DPL team member). If this is the case I've asked my team to be prepared to shoot regardless, and would ask that the SC commit to making an announcement as soon as the results for Golden Hour and Shopping Cart have been validated.
Why does the playoff bracket already show the results even before we know the results of the Shopping Cart challenge?
From what we've been able to gather it's based on where we stand after Golden Hour only. We're hoping Langdon is psychic rather than it being a bit of announcer jinx.

I'm kind of hoping for a controversial DQ (or 2) to mix things up a bit ... and to blow up the forums ;)

I don't know that it will... I haven't heard back from Langdon about our bribe, I'm worried that the hit squad may have been able to raise more than the $2.38 we raised...
I don't know if it's quite right making poor little brains do math this late at night. Next time, the west coast people get to do the math. :)
Actually it kept me awake until my daughter's flight got in safely, so that worked. :)
Regardless of whether my math is screwed up or not, what an amazing run. The Hit Squad is an incredible team and it was scary ummm... intimidating exciting going up against them!
