I was talking to a friend of mine about moving to Hawaii. We are decided to shoot for Oahu. Anyways, I would only be living on an island for about five months starting in January, but he would continue to live there "for at least a couple of years." He wants to work in construction there. As for me, I was going to transfer there from my current job at Costco. Do you or anyone you know live on Oahu?

There are a few Costco stores on Oahu: Mililani, downtown & Hawaii Kai. Maybe you could work there while on the island.
I have an aunty and uncle that live about 10 min or so from the Mililani Costco. And there is a HUGE Costco on the Big Island and I mean HUGE. Good luck and hope you get your transfer!
