- pretty much diametrically opposed to what I entered.
blindjustice thought it would probably score better - but of course he preferred my entry. Only one other member of the team preferred the outtake, and we have a pretty diverse team with lots of people who like pretty (including me). Of course in the end it was my choice - always is :) - and since no one said s/he thought it would bomb and I preferred it for the story, in it went. As I said in my Photographer's Comments, it was a great week :) and I knew early on I would not be doing any second guessing on this one regardless of the outcome.

Sort of an out-take and would be interested on your thoughts about the alternate edit and missing telegraph pole! My Captain Tate thought it would pass muster with SC so I sent if off to them for clarification - what do you think?

Took me a while to notice the difference so I don't think the score would have been any different
Mine isn't an outtake as much as it is the actual final edit I was supposed to put in. I had done so many edits with the colors last Sunday that when all was said and done I hadn't cleaned up after myself properly and I submitted the second to last, which addressed some of the oversaturation a couple people pointed out. I guess I'll never know if it would have kicked me into the Top 5 from 7th.

I know. Been kicking myself all week.
Don't kick too hard, I think the difference is too subtle to make any significant difference to your score.
