I'm in Orange County, but selling my house to move to Seattle area. If the get-together happens before I sell and move, I'd likely show up. I'll keep an eye on the thread
Seattle, eh?! I have never been there, heard it's fun! Please do keep an eye on this thread so you can join us if you are still living in SoCal. We'd love to have you join our little group :) We got some great photos last get-together, and hopefully this next one will be even better! I am interested in seeing your Sony! One of my favorite photographers uses that camera (www.sh1ft.org) and I love her work!

Nov 6/7 is pretty much my only available weekend out of the ones listed above.
I am going to propose we go on the 7th of Nov. I like going out on Sundays more than Saturdays. Saturday is a good day to stay home, clean, work on things. Sunday is fun to relax... so I am totally up for that! However, if Saturday is best, just let me know!
Not sure what the "Wedge" is, but I am a strong probably for being able to go... With trying to sell the house, pack, etc, things might come up... But I'll do my best to be there... Can you give me page and grid co-ords for Thomas Guide on where the Wedge is?
Edit : After a Google search I assume you mean either the Sam Rodia’s Towers in Watts or the Wedge in Newport Beach (Surfers beach)... Which one?
I would love to go, but my daughters have three softball games that day spread out throughout the day, so count me out. If it changes to Saturday, then I may be able to make it, but don't change the scheduling just for me. Just keep me updated :) If I can go, I certainly will.
Chuck, we really haven't settled on a date. If Saturday is best for you, then we should go on Sat. Let us know how probable that Saturday is for you! :)

I can go on Oct 16th for a few hours! Where in LA will you be? Are you just visiting? We can go to Hollywood (tourist area) or Griffith Park maybe? Tell me more about your visit... I am also free on the 14th in the evening and the 19th in the evening. If you want to go do night shots...
So, Nov 6th is out for me now. I have a financial securities conference I have to go to. But I am still on for the 7th. As for the 16th, I could still do a few hours... let me know
I am leaving town so you won't hear from me until Nov 2nd (most likely, but who knows... i tend to find computers on vacation). Anyhow, I want to find out if we are confirmed for Nov 7th at the Wedge? If you all want to go on the 6th with Chuck, and we'll do something else on the 7th, let me know, i am up for it. I don't want to leave Chuck out. I really wish we could all get together the same day, but schedules are so hard to plan when life gets in the way. So, please post what's up and we'll see each other soon for a great photo tour of some part of LA :)

You should visit sometime. IMO, it's best here in the spring and fall. I like winter too, but it took a while for me to appreciate it afer moving here from Los Angeles. Had to build up a tolerance for the cold.
