Anyone with a good grasp of the rules who would be willing to look at my entry and tell me if it's legal?

Sorry, it's a little late to help now ... I suppose you (someone) can request validation and get a definitive ruling, or you can pretend you never started this thread and hope it slips through. ;-)

FWIW the best way to get a pre-submission opinion (not "ruling") is to submit a ticket to the SC with before/after pictures and a detailed list of editing steps.

smardaz answered my question last night so I think I'm good. Thanks for the info though. I would have tried to get an answer earlier but I ended up doing a last minute processing job and started panicking last night at about 9 because I really like my shot but wasn't sure about using textures in advanced.
