Just got my Tamron 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC for Nikon!!! Oh, I can't believe it!!!!! Had the $$ last year (went to Paris instead - good choice) Just finalized my mother estate (she'd be happy with the purchase) and picked up the lens today!!! As soon as SC adds it to the Tamron Equipment list...I'll be on it. I think

MaryO and I are the only Nikon users with it.

Happy Dance!!!! Yippy!!! Now to find some birds!!!

ETA: now I need a good Carbon Fiber Monopod...lightweight (for travel)...any recommendations?

Excellent choice, its a great lens, not too heavy (considering) and beautifully sharp.

PS. Alligators are green and they are kinda abstracty on their own hahah!

If you can find a picture of the non-listed len and give the information to SC they will add it...I've done 3/4 now.

THis is the same lens Wendy has, right? That listing is NOT camera-specific, you should use that one. I'm a little shocked to see how many duplicate listings there are for Tamron... Like, the 1-24mm is listed for Canon, for Nikon, for Pentax, but it's all the same lens, just different mounts. Statistics are better served if 3rd-party lenses are bundled regardless of the mount...
