Not sure if anyone has but thought to check it out and see!
during summer time I parked my motorcycle in a garage next train station. Now to get into the garage they have a credit card size magnetic card. Now the problem becomes when I have to pull the card out from the shirt/jacket pocket and swipe it so that gate would be open and to do that I have to take gloves out, swipe, put card back and put on the gloves again and drive in the garage. I am wondering if anyone knows/has a gloves that has a pocket to keep this key and just tap on the reader so that I don't have to go through this problem everyday.
You still have to swipe the card, so you'd have to take one glove off to get into the pocket on the back of the other glove. I'm thinking a lanyard for the card would let you do the card swiping without taking your gloves off. Also, it'd be fast. Also, if you drop the card, it'd be safe on it's lanyard. With gloves on, you can tuck it inside a pocket on your jacket or shirt -- which you'd want to do, because that lanyard would be long.
For garages that use the paper tickets, what I do is stick the ticket into the gap between the instrument cluster window and the surround. Then I can simply pull the card out and feed it to the machine with my gloved hand. Doesn't work, of course, for plastic entry cards. For that, the lanyard is a great idea; allows you to use a gloved hand and prevents dropping the card.
There are no end of annoyances like this, stuff that's built for autos but is inconvenient at best for MCs. The worst one, IMO, is traffic light sensors that don't detect motorcycles, so you either wait forever or have to go against a light.

lanyard would be a good option and I will need to give it a shot and see if it helps.
A handsome classic bike. I hope you've got a nice commute, not breathing too much diesel exhaust. I rode a bike for years (a Suzuki sport bike) & remember washing the black grime off my face every night. But I loved it.
Maybe it's the gloves themselves. With mine, I can pull my wallet out, slide the card out, stick the card in the reader in the pump, punch in my zip code, fuel & go. I have Triumph gloves, obviously, but I'm sure if you went to your local cycle accessories place you could find gloves with better feel & usability.
This is what I have been using and so far no issues, very comfortable and grip is also good. Though I thought about having a pocket in this but I felt that it won't be big because I use medium size gloves and not wide enough and also not long so cannot have vertical pocket also.

You'd really think that being Mechanix Wear that they would be easy to use with some dexterity. I've worked with mechanics who have used them on the line. I hate gloves for feel when wrenching, so I never did, but....
