Well, I have an action to resize to 1200 whilst applying adamus sharpening... But here's the thing; a LOT of high end actions have cutouts in the flow where you make a manual adjustment and then click OK to proceed. Anytime you have a processing flow for a particular effect you can capture an action that allows customization within the workflow. It's no different, really, from saving a preset in CEP4, say, as one example. You can open an image in CEP4, apply the preset, then alter the parameters of the component parts of the preset to get what you want.
In cases like this, both actions and presets are customizable templates that give you a framework of repetitive steps on which you can embellish variations. |
