Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM II

I just found out I'm a finalist in the Backroads photo contest for 2014. There are 30 finalists, and I have two of them! Out of 5000 submissions!

Now there's two problems.

1) It seems they are doing that silly little get your friends to vote thing that I dislike so much. I didn't realize they would do that.
2) Since I have two finalists, I'm not sure which one to tell people to vote for...and if my votes are split, then I'll likely lose.

and a 3rd...there are some good pictures (not all) in there.

This is for as much as $3000 in trip credit (yes, it's only good for a Backroads trip, but we enjoyed our Nova Scotia trip and we're likely going on another one this summer.

My two photos are the second row from the bottom in the finalist list, since it's alphabetical. Damn "S" in Shapiro!

Ok, so first: Which one should I have people vote for? Ok, by popular vote, i'm suggesting people vote for the Fort shot [b](some of our bike group people in the doorways at Fort Anne in Annapolis Royal)

Backroads is a multisport tour company. They do treat you pretty well!

I'll certainly cast a vote for you, but I agree that splitting votes may not be to your advantage. So, if consensus is achieved on 'which', I'll be there!

Congrats!!! Yes -- I think you should decide on one so as not to split the votes.

Do you feel more strongly about one or the other? Go with your heart and let us know which one!

(I like the people in the cabins better -- more interesting, fun and different. Haven't voted yet. Tell me which one and I'll go do it!)

...ok, let's go for the doorways at the Fort. That's Fort Anne in Annapolis Royal.

One of the guys, after I took that shot told me that I have to enter that in the contest..it's going to win. So he was at least part right so far.

Thanks in advance. BTW - you have to give your email address when voting and confirm, but everyone who votes is entered into a random drawing for a $200 Patagonia gift card...(again, I think that's something you can only use on a Backroads trip)

Per their email:

Vote before February 12, 2015. And remember, the photo with the most votes wins, so invite all your friends and family members to vote—spread the word via e-mail, Facebook, Twitter or blogging. Everyone who votes is automatically entered into a drawing for a $200 Patagonia gift card.

and on the finalist page it says:

"Limit one vote per valid e-mail address."

So I guess if you have more than one email address, all I can say is "THANK YOU!" :)
