Some of you are members of FAA (FineArtAmerica) and if you are, you may have an image (or two or three) in the marketing contest they are running currently. For those who are not, here's what it's about: FAA National TV Photo Contest
In brief, any member can enter up to three images. Entrants are to solicit votes. Only the entries with 250 votes or more make it to the juried round. Anyone can vote one time on an image but not more; you can only vote a total of 25 times - but that means if there are 25 of us here at DPC with an entry, you can vote for each of us (and I doubt there are more than 25 who will respond to this).
I would like to invite any entrant who wants to to add the link to one of his or her entries. I'll try to manage this discussion by bringing names and links to the top (or bottom, depending on your sort LOL) every few days.
If you are not a member of FAA, you can sign up as a "buyer" or "collector" and that will enable you to vote.
Remember, once you have voted for an entry, you do not have to think about it again - you cannot vote for it twice. And once you have signed up at FAA (you will not get spammed as a result), you will not have to sign up again in order to vote for a new person's entry.
Things to note:
You do have to give your email at FineArtsAmerica or sign in through Facebook if you are not already an FAA member. You should not receive a lot of unwanted mail as a result.
You can only vote once per image BUT you can vote on up to 25 images.
You cannot vote more than once from a household BUT you can share these links with friends or family you think might vote and we'd appreciate that.
Are any other DPC members in this contest? Add your top link if you are.
Thank for taking the time to vote on everyone's entries.
P-A-U-L I originally had two entries in the contest but pulled one of my entries so I could get back a vote. I am concentrating on just the one entry I have so with my last vote, I went and voted on your Wool Tang Clan:-) Good luck! (BTW, Nikki I am one of your early votes from your FB post:-) )
Thanks for the votes on mine. I have 14 votes so far - I can see there are quite a few that already have 250+ votes. I wonder if this is due to the photos being better or these photographers having larger social circles or some other factors. The photos with 250+ votes are rather splendid in my opinion.
