Not sure if I completely agree with the author's statement that looking at their eyes will change your perspective, but maybe it did for him (or her)
I think eyes are near the top of things our brain (and probably the brain of every animal with a brain) jumps to when we see them. Along with dangerous things, where paying attention will keep us alive.
So it would make sense that photos featuring strong eye contact would be appreciated. |
