Hi, everyone I know I haven't been around as much lately and some of you might not know who I am. But I have voted for others contests in the past so I thought it was worth a shot to beg :) for some votes from you guys.
I just made this tutorial last night on the costume I made for my daughter. I entered it in a contest on instructables.com. So far it has gotten a really good response. You can win some really cool prizes like an ipad, sewing machine, even a new digital camera. You do have to register to vote but you can register with your facebook or google account with one click and it is super easy. Even if you don't vote check out my tutorial if you are curious about how I made parts of the costume. Thanks in advance for the votes :) Also if any of you have time to read through the tutorial it would be helpful, if it makes it to the judging phase they judge you on the clarity of the instructions.
You are the most creative person I've EVER known... When I read your post and saw the pix, I thought well I guess she made a costume based on this statue. OMG I can NOT believe you made that! If it wasn't for the second pix and even then it still looks like a statue... weeping angel lordy girl. Freaking AWESOME... running to vote as many times as I can on this...
Ok I logged in w/ FB, I voted, but I can't tell I voted... will it say something if you voted? if it don't then I've voted like 20 times.. LOL I also posted the link to my FB page and told everyone to vote!
Well I went back and did it again, this time it says voted... Can u vote more than once???
Thanks again to everyone, DPC really is the best. When you get too involved in the forums you forget that sometime. But when you step away for a bit like I have and then come back and all the same people are there to cheer you on it makes you realize how great this site really is.
I have this request posted in my stock forums as well. There are a few that are really helpful, but nothing like this site.
