I`m fairly new here and there are some interesting threads on the site but
wading through 100s to find them is a bit boring.
Is there a search facility on here, if not could one be added.

Welcome George,
We have been assured that restoring the search function is high on the site coders' to-do list, but have no firm date yet. The site was completely revised a few weeks ago, and functions and features are still being added.
