And I'm actually nervous about this myself. I had a dq a bit ago - less than 25 entries, I know - screwed up on the editing and reported myself. Now I entered Selfie with my first ever cell phone self portrait - had to borrow my daughter's phone - and I'm not sure the file I saved is "unaltered" by DPC standards as she had to email it to me. Thankfully, my score tells me I don't have much to worry about in terms of validation.

I'd still really like to see a tutorial in the "How'd they do that" learning section for this technique. Maybe while you're on "time-out" you can make a tutorial? They'll give you a free month of membership for the tutorial. That'll show them!

I won a ribbon with a cellphone shot from my Sister's iPhone, which I e-mailed to myself, so if you didn't use any 3rd-party software like snapseed or whatever you are probably fine :-)
I can see the big clouds of "sigh.... sigh........... sigh.................." piling up over America from here in Africa.
Lydia's comments are worth their weight in gold, so I propose a rule change:
If Lydia comments on 100% of three challenges one challenge, she'll be put on probation for three years one year, and if she transgresses in the probation period she has to do twice as many comments. Transgressions shall be decided on by popular vote, not any of this independent SC decision-making nonsense.
ok, so i read the dq... you cant dodge and burn an iris? to make sharper and more pronounced?
Not when the doge and burn tools are used to create detail that wasn't there in the original. Remember, the eyeball was turning too, so there was no pronounced detail to work with, just blurs.
ok, im assuming you guys made a judgement call here.. i got worried we were not allowed to enhance eyes to the level that i like to...
It wasn't even a judgment call, it was pretty much cut-and-dried. As long as you have a sharp eyeball and only enhance what's already there, you're not going to have issues.
