The former 1st place image in "Coffee II" has been disqualified for removing major elements. There was a hand holding up the creamer, partially (but not entirely) draped with a black cloth, and the shadow of the creamer/hand on the tabletop was much larger.

Congratulations to our new ribbon-winner and Honorable Mention!

Bummer for sns - I've felt his pain. ;-)

I greatly appreciate the detailed DQ explanation on the entry that is specific to that entry. It was sorely lacking in many past DQs.

Too bad, I really liked that image. The use of matte black gloves and all-black clothes would have taken care of things.
