I did not get a chance to vote on this challenge. But this was one of the best of the bunch. Creative, Suggestive, Beautiful. Everything an image should be. I cant believe people did not know what it was.

I think it is pretty clear what this is anyway ... and very well done by the way. Assuming people took more than 2 secs to look at it they should have realised what it was easily enough. Jusging from the comments I think people did get it ok.
I didn't have this down for a ribbon, being honest, but am surprised it didn't make the top 10.
41 votes 4 and under...what?...It should have done better. I think your comment on my mirrors entry was "that is so smart. I wish I thought of it! good job :)" thats what I thought when I seen this one. It was too creative for the average voter...I'll stop kissing butt now.
Well Eric here's some great news.. not only did I give you a 10...but I also figured that this shot could only come from one of 2 People (and the other person did not enter)....this means that your "style" as evolved to the point where your signature is your image...that's pretty masterful.
here's what Dr.Jones told me last week: "you can either join a challenge to win...or join a challenge to see how people percieve your work" I'd love to win a challenge...but what I love even more is learning about how people see things differently, and how the interpret my offerings.
Wouldn't it be great if when we say why we give 1s and 2s people didn't PM us with abuse and complaints, or start forum posts of the same nature? That's why I don't.
I just thought maybe my title hurt this a little. If I looked really quickly at this photo and didn't know what it was, I probably would have marked it low also. I think it really goes to show that the title really can have a huge impact on the way a photo is viewed. I've learned that now, and I am just looking for some feedback from the people who may not have seen this for what it is.

Think of it as a parallel with wedding photography...the clientele expects a certain type of imagery...and is often thrown off if the images are beyond their grasp. Photography may be technical...but its more emotinal I think...so it's normal to get mixed reviews.

well guess what, I do "on demand" erotica...and it's the exact same thing..this lady wanted a "Mistress" photoset to offer as a gift to her partner...she was a good looking woman..with one flaw..she had what I'd call "fish eyes"...so I had planned to shoot her in a way that would no highlight that...well she shows up at the studio with a bunch of photo clippings and tells me... "I want this and I want that" and so on....so #1, say goodby to creativity...and #2 most if not all the angles/expressions she wanted to reproduce made her "fish eyes" look like..."fish eyes".... I never even kept one of these shots for my book...and she was happy has hell... go figure.
