... to change the "Photographers Comments" on photos where the challenge has already started or has already finished?

As far as I know you can do it while the challenge is still in progress. Once it is finished, I don't think so.

You can't change the photographers comments after the challenge has already started being voted on. However, if voting hasn't started yet, then just go to the submissin page and you can change it. After the challenge is over though, you can comment on your photo and add the extra info in if you want.

Oops, I was in such a rush earlier I didn't read the question properly. I was thinking about comments on other people's photos.

Actually it might be a good idea to let us change them later as comments received from others often make me think of things I didn't mention at the time - I can hardly ever think of anything to put in the comments section at all.
