Feel free to post your rainbow shots here, would love to see them...

Right now we have had an abundance of rainbows but I have missed the most beautiful one last night with the double rainbow, go figure out of all times I did not have my camera and usually one is by my side, just for a 10 minute errand, I missed one LOL!

But I was able to get into this one, straight from the card, no editing

My ISO was 200, F11 and i had to put it on manual mode and manual focus..this shot I used... Aperture: 4.0
ISO: 720
Shutter: 1/60.

Is there some other settings I need to be aware of that I am not getting yet?

Sorry, not much advice except to try and always have a camera with you ... :-)

FWIW the "best" double-rainbow I've seen was one tiem driving down I-5 near Portland, when I didn't have a camera ... :-(

My main pieces of advice:

White balance is really important for bringing out the color spectrum
Expose to the + side. 1 or maybe 2 stops. These scenes are often dark, so higher exposure helps a lot.

I find a polarizing filter helps.

We don't get many rainbows around here for some reason.
