Contre-jour is a photographic term that means 'against the light' and refers to pictures taken when the camera is pointing towards (or roughly towards) the main light source. Capture a photo using this technique.

How would the settings be for something like this as far as manual mode or aperture, ISO ect?

Depends on what you're trying to achieve. An example would be a silhouette against the sunset, in which you would just expose for the sunset and whatever is in the foreground would be silhouetted. |

This has become very popular lately in portrait photography, not necessarily silhouetted images. I would be in for this one. |
