I came across this video on my Zite feed. It was done at the same location as my two pictures below and gives a nice impression of the majesty of these waves. Enjoy.

Awesome waves. Idiot place to stand. Repeated raising-of-arms grates on me a bit. But awesome waves, great slo-mo. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome! Hard to believe how big they are. In a 'closed' sea like our Adriatic sea it's impossible to see something like this.
