Ok -- seems kind of strange to wish happy 50th birthday to someone only a few of you know.
He hasn't entered any challenges.
He's posted to a couple of threads -- mostly answer science questions (he's a physicist)
And yet he's incredibly active on DPC: you may recognize him:

If it wasn't for my wonderful husband, I wouldn't still be here. For as many shots that he's be in, he's been behind the scenes in 10-20x as many. He's taken me (and the family) to the blue ridge mountains for the nighttime landscape challenge. Brought me up to Chincoteague many times for wildlife challenges. Has put up with "frozen pizza tonight -- can you pick it up on your way home, I have to get an entry in tonight".
He keeps up with my scores and comments daily, and let's me talk endlessly about ideas, complaints, praises, etc about DPC.
I think in 5.5 years, I've only heard him complain once.
Oh -- twice. The time I buried him in the sand, he said that we needed to do the shot really quick, because he couldn't breathe.
Oh -- and my 100-400L and new 150-600 only exist because of incredible 20th and 25th anniversary presents
Yup, Wendy you have a great soulmate! I can't tell you how many times my hubby patiently puts up and encourages my photography. Understanding husbands are a treasure:-)
Even though it was a failed experiment, I still appreciate his and your assistance with trying to figure out how to get a candle flame to burn upside down and look like it was right side up in the illusion. Happy 50th Forever Young Birthday!!!
That shot of him in the bathtub is one of my favourites of yours Wendy. I'm not sure how many guys would have volunteered for that job lol.
I tried talking my husband into posing with only a feather duster and a little apron a while back (can't remember why) but he flat out refused. I think it had something to do with "the guys at work might see it".
We have an agreement that if I spend time fishing with him he will spend time doing photography with me. It has turned into a really great arrangement, well at least I think so :)

Oh, yeah! Husband-of-Wendy is a very cool guy. We've met him. Nothing seems to rattle him, which is a good thing since Wendy's his wife :-) He even has a name! It's JEFF :-)
That's a lovely tribute to your husband, Wendy--it's always nice to recognize those who we torture support us in our photographic endeavors... I know my wife would agree :)

You guys are so awesome!! I didn't know if anyone (except the few that have met him) would post in Jeff's thread. But it seemed so appropriate to wish him a happy birthday here. He's so active behind the scenes, and such a wonderful support, I just really wanted to share it with you.
Happy Birthday on a great milestone. Thanks for letting Wendy play with us and being so supportive. I don't know what we would do without her (and you).
