I am in Toronto it's wild here now, since there may not be a hockey this season.
I was SOO happy to see the boys win. they've struggled in the final game for the last 4 years, so this is cool.
I think the victory is just a liittttle bit sweeter after watching the Russian team's pathetic display of Sportsmanship against the US in the semifinal game. Hats off to the boys from the US for keeping their cool (mostly) while the Russians taunted them after several goals.
Apparently a few of the Canadian kids vowed a little on-ice revenge for the Americans. Sho'nuff they hit 'em where it hurt...the scoreboard.
