As a cyclist, you may do this anyway, but my tradition is to always ride my age on my birthday. As you get older, it gets harder, and more beneficial. And it's fun. At least guarantees I'll take one long ride per summer (I ride every day, but rarely get a ride as long as my age!)

That was the plan. I took a day off tomorrow and it looks like I am going to get rained out for the third year in a row. I did do 52 miles a couple of days afterwards last year, for the Easter Hill tour, but have not yet done it ON my birthday. *grumble*

Might get it in in spite of the weather. Looks like a low chance of rain up until about noon, so I am prepping my bike, getting to bed early and will try to be rolling before 0600. Powershot S90 riding shotgun in the jersey pocket.

Weather schmeather! My brother in law rode almost every day to work this year, and he lives in MN!!
