They install them self and they don't ask permission. I'm smart enough not to open emails or give permission for sites to install things, and I wasn't even on a questionable site!
I beleive Virtual Bouncer is the start, then it starts installing everything under the sun. I had to hard shutdown the computer because things were installing so fast and I was helpless to stop. I ran adware and spybot and caught about 300 things. It added a whole directory of crap to my favorites and installed addestroyer, which is a fake spyware removal tool that actually does the opposite, and begin2search. About an hour of research and an hour of cleaning up, and I'm back to normal. FYI "Hijack this" is great.
