This is just an idea I've had for a while and decided to do it today.

I took a trip to my old small town today (pop approx 25000). Snapped some pics of public doors (church, train station, some bars, abandoned old silver mines etc.) and put it together to make a small poster (A3 plus size). It was too sunny so will go back and retake some pics. But after a Sunday with enjoyable photography and some minor editing I'm happy with the result so far.

I'm thinking I will make one for the town I live in now as well and one from my birth town. Will be a nice collection in our basement rec room.

Just wanted to share :)

Sounds like a great idea with another doors challenge. Hopefully there are a few doors left that haven't already photographed :)

Really nicely done. I wanted to do the same in the small town in Germany in which I lived, but sadly it was one of those projects that I just never got around to doing. Now that I'm back in the states I'm too afraid of being shot.

we had a doors challenge in Oct!

And there's one on 1x ATM.

What's at 1X? A door poster or a door challenge? I've never used 1X. But I am aware that there are many of these door posters, for cities around the world, on the domain.
