That's funny because I said in my comment that a sign saying Eet mor chicken would be better. Too bad you couldn't submit this one. I think it's funny. Just out of curiosity is that an ad campaign in the states? I'm clueless I don't get to see many commercials over here.

Yes, there is a fast food chain here called Chick-Filet and they sell all chicken products. They have had a very successful ad campaign the last couple of years encouraging people to eat more chicken, to the benefit of the cows! Very clever and my image doesn't do the professional ads justice!

I know exactly what you mean! I was on submarines in the Navy for 12 years. We'd go out to sea for a 6 or 7 month Med run. When we returned, I had no idea what anyone was talking about with regard to movies, commercials, songs, tv shows, etc. It was like being in a culture vacuum for six months! Actually, not true... I saw amazing things in Italy, France, England, Ireland, Scotland, Norway, etc, etc etc. Let's say it was an American culture vacuum.
Where are you in Italy? I went to Rome, Sorrento, Pompeii, Naples, and lots of time on Palau (Sardinia). I shot rolls and rolls and rolls of film. I wish digital cameras were around then (83-95)!

I'm stationed 5 minutes from Pisa. The funny thing is I still haven't submitted a Leaning Tower shot for a challenge. That's a cliche shot for tourists so maybe I'll do that this week instead of a water drop. I agree that it is an American Cultural Vaccum over here but like you said there's so much to see and do here to make up for it.
the cow shot would be more believable if you took a shot of an actual sign that said. both shots are very funny and would have been very interesting to see in the humor challenge.
YES YES YES. There is a huge billboard here in Philly with exactly that slogan. It is by far the best billboard sign I have ever seen. I wish I wasn't brand new here and had been able to submit a pic of it for the signs contest. It has a gigantic statue of two cows in front of the sign and one is standing on the others back so that he can reach with his paintbrush where he is just finishing up writing, "Eet More Chicken." I don't know if they have this exact sign anywhere else, but I'm guessing that they do. They should!
