One of the advantages of having the 6D is the build in wireless, and while not perfect the app for smartphones and tablets is good IMO. It's also very good for selfies (yes...) and macro work. The new update of the app also allows manual focus
I was wondering if there's something similar for Nikon D600. It has a not a built in wireless but I guess there's a sort of adapter to allow a wireless connection. But I have seen that Nikon app can't control every setting of the camera, while Canon can.
I think all the recent Sonys do this already without any hacking. I know my RX100 II does.
off topic, but how do you like that camera, im really considering buying one.
Generally like it a lot. It's not a replacement for a good DSLR, but for the things it's appropriate for, it's amazing. I end up taking about 90% of my images with it. It's probably time to resurrect the other thread on this camera and write a proper review. Maybe later today...
