Nice cloning job to simplify the image. Might consider a crop that takes the top down to just show the red line up there and remove the upper grey color area. I can't tell without trying whether that would need a little of the bottom trimmed too.
Nicely done. The crop suggested by bob350 is a good idea but I'm not 100% sold on it. Part of me likes the leaving the glass in to give a bit more scale to the size of your son at this age.
