I think it's excellent. There is a really interesting stillness and sense of apprehension to the images that sum up the worrying situation well. Check it out.
Great photo essay. That's an example where context and captions are a critical part of it. It offers a sense of immediacy and presence (presence in absence).
Of course, it's also possible to have a photo essay with no words.
