These are some photos I took today of Oxford Dam in Hickory NC. It's been raging like this since yesterday, it was featured on the news last night. I've never seen it like this, not even after Hurricane Hugo.

Yup.. The Rhodhiss dam doesn't have gates on the top and it was flowing over the entire top of the dam. I'm gonna ride back up there shortly with my camera...
If I didn't have a soccer game to attend by 3... Share a few of your shots, if you don't mind? I hate to miss it, maybe it will still be flowing late afternoon after the soccer game.
All this begs the question, how many folks from NC are there here? I'm in the Triangle... BTW Dana, there's a pro in Charlotte that has a very similar name to yours. I used to go to school with some kids from Hickory, there must be smething strange in the water over there...
