By this you mean the first person in an Open challenge to win their first ribbon? So the "win" could happen during any week if none of the ribboners in earlier challenges are "first-timers" ...

If you don't have any ribbon so far, and won one in an open challenge in February (challenge yet to be announced), you will get the hat! If all 3 winners had ribbon(s) prior, it will be repeated for the next open challenge until someone gets it.
By the way, I never kept any from last two batches, the one I was going to keep, with my signature on it, I sent to bear_music... that tells you how much I respect the guy!!!
and one of the hats from very first batch had a spelling error, If I am not mistaking I sent that one to IreneM, and I think I sent another one to recover it :P

Sorry Leo, not signed in very often these days (too much work taking up too much of my time).
My hat has no spelling error (just checked, letter for letter). The other one you sent to recover it hasn't arrived yet ;-)
