The results of the 'The Exact Same Spot' challenge have been recalculated, due to the disqualification of the former 2nd place image for failing to provide a valid original within the required timeframe. Congrats to our new ribbon winners!
My bad. :( I was in Mexico with family for Thanksgiving holiday weekend, and got in at midnight last night. The last thing I wanted to do was sit up, and upload a bunch of cat takes. Haha! Thanks for all the kind votes and comments anyway! :)

When you post these recalculations threads, would it be possible for you to insert a link to the challenge? Some of these announcements come so long after the challenge rolls off the page, it would make sense for us to be able to just click here and go see the thread again rather than having to search through the archives.

I'm gonna play devil's advocate here. First of all is this going to set some sort of precedent? Are other ribboners who also missed uploading originals in time going to get pardoned and reinstated? Or is this going to be a privilege doled out only to the PKs?

Have to say I agree with this, I have seen several people denied ribbons for not meeting the upload deadline, is there something we do not know about here, an explanation would be nice.

also what about the person who had the 4th place then gets a ribbon! now has that ribbon taken away???
+1. We're waiting. Especially as in this case it's not some first-time ribboning noobs but an established ribbon hawg, who even states herself that she simply didn't feel like uploading a bunch of cat takes at a late hour. So? That's not a legitimate excuse at all.
She knows the rules, she knew she was going to be out of the country, she knew she could possibly be hindered in the course of travel and might not be able to easily upload a dozen cat pics. So? Does this mean that there are now two sets of rules?
Are we now facing an Orwellian case of, 'All DPCers are created equal, but some are more equal than others'?
