It would be nice to have a notification feature (optional to receiver) if someone mention a member's name in a post. I know that probably will be possible only within the member/user tags but still could be a nice feature to add.
(Automated message) "Thank you for your suggestion, but we are no longer taking requests for improvements. If you feel you've reached this recording in error, please hang up and try your call again. Thank you for shopping at DPC. Have a nice day."

"Please feel free to re-submit your request in 30 days for further disapproval"

1. We are not Twitter -- I don't see why you need to "follow" anyone that closely.
2. It could/would generate a lot of (mostly) boring and useless messages/emails and add to the database overhead, (further) degrading overall site performance.
3. It should be easy enough to do a forum search (use the "advanced" feature) to search the text/body for the person's name, restricting the dates to since your last search. If you bookmark the search results page, you can recall it at any time and simply change the dates and reload it to get a current result.

Knowing his request will be ignored isn't enough? You have to pile on? :P
