I hate popularity contests, I so wish photography contests could be based on the merit of the photograph but when it is on Facebook it turns into just a popularity contest, irrelevant of the quality of the shot. Your shot; However, is the best in the group, in my opinion, so all of that to say you got a like from me but not because I know you from here. To get to the top ten is difficult and photos are chosen on merit and only the weekly winners go through to the next round. Entries are then judged again. I think that this particular entry stands a good chance to win in the final round and that is why I'm canvassing real hard. The entry close on my heels has an unfair advantage and that is the other reason why I'm asking for your support.

The guy is full time photographer for an agricultural magazine and one of his FB friends does this magazine's FB page. The magazine has thousands of FB followers and is in collaboration (maybe sponsor but I'm not sure) with the seed company that's running the photo competition.
This is the only reason why I involved my DPC friends and what good friends they turned out to be. So thank you in advance.
