I didn't get my idea and shots until late on the deadline afternoon so I couldn't go back and try again. The light is low at the library and two-year-olds don't sit very still and certainly not for very long, so I was lucky to have these to work with. I worked up the orange one first but really didn't like the pink and red-orange together, nor was the original vertical composition conducive to an effective Droste effect, I thought. I preferred the expression, composition and changed color of my entry and my team members did, too, so I went with it. The extreme softness of Clifford bothers me, too.
