I think the lighting on the cheese, pickle (is that really a pickle?) and fork are very good. The jar is under lit and has the annoying highlight on the left side and sort of annoying on the right side of it. There are a couple of things you could try on the jar, put a light with a snoot on it just above the jar so it lights up the contents and/or try lighting it from behind. You will have to play with the light to put just enough to bring the contents out without making them too bright. When I've needed to do very controlled light I've used aluminum foil on the end of my snoot and made a hole just big enough to allow the amount of light I needed, out. You have to be careful with enclosed light like that though so it doesn't heat up to much. You can also use a cardboard tube or rolled up construction paper to make a snoot.
The highlights on both side of the jar are going to take a bit more work to get rid of. You may be able to with gobos or some other light blockers or get a bigger light source. What you could also do is just light the jar so it's lit correctly, then block of the light to it and light the cheese, pickle and fork separately and merge the two images together.
