Just an update, in case someone stumbles upon this post:
I went into the big camera shop. They pulled out a Tamron 24-70 and the same adapter I have. It fit. Then I took their adapter and it fit my lens. My adapter did NOT fit there lens, so something is wrong with my adapter. When I got home I tried putting it back on the 50mm 1.4 and it fit. I tried it on my 70-200 4L and it fit. I tried it on my 100mm and it wouldn't fit...so I'm looking for any subtle differences in the ways the mounts are made.
It sucks...I was planning to shoot some video with my 24-70 on the m4/3 camera...had to use the cheap Panny lens. Still had a good time. |
