Was about to post that I couldn't figure out how to change the time on my camera, but then I found that my camera was smarter than me and had already taken care of it.
The change almost caused me to miss getting a shot of the eclipse this morning. I worked out fine though, because I arrived at my chosen location about a minute before the sun broke out over the clouds on the horizon.
Yay, we got our hour back that the government took away.
Well, I don't know about the cameras but, I have a couple of alarm clocks that change automatically. Trouble is,someone decided to change the schedule a week on each end causing me to have to correct the clocks four times rather than the normal two. So much for auto-set.
Oblivious as usual, I got up at the usual time and was on the road looking for photography subjects.
Wondering why - yes I knew it was Sunday - the roads were so empty and my city's visitors were not in evidence.
I had it all to myself for one whole hour.
Serendipity.
Then some folks from New Jersey, seeing the cameras hanging from me, wanted their picture taken and the day began.

Okay......how come one of my D600s is smarter than me and the other is not?
I changed the time on my camera before going to bed at 11:30pm last night. By then the time was reading 00:30 and I changed it back to 23:30. All well and good. Then I thought about it some more and noticed that (of course) the date had also changed "prematurely" to today's date, 11/04/13. Whew! Being a day off might really have caused me some problems. !

You're only supposed to change it by an hour, not a day.... :D
Now I am not sure if you guys noticed but DPC Server time already changed and it is showing that that the current challenge would end in "23 hours and 20 minutes left" meaning we already lost an hour ;)
Though if you have submitted any entry in a challenge then look at the date time next to updated: tag under score and it shows current timing meaning somewhere we have disconnect between the scoring engine and submission system :)
